Biography

Khushboo Rathore, writing under the pen name Mei Lii, is a young poet from Jaipur, Rajasthan, India, born on 26 September 2006. Known for her calm, kind nature and her desire to spread love through words, she writes for hearts that feel deeply but often remain unheard.

Her writing journey began in September 2025, during a time when life felt overwhelming. What started as a way to cope slowly became a form of healing. Through writing, she discovered that not every pain needs destruction—sometimes, words alone are enough to bring peace, comfort, and even quiet happiness in solitude.

Blending personal experiences with imagination, her poetry moves through a wide spectrum of emotions—heartbreak, longing, loneliness, self-love, healing, and ultimately, a search for something divine. Her debut work, Honey on My Soul, reflects this journey: a transformation from feeling “broken enough to die” to becoming “healed enough to live.”

She writes for those who feel everything deeply—especially the quiet souls who can feel alone even in a crowded room. Through her words, she hopes to remind readers to embrace who they are, to hold onto hope, and to believe that even when life feels heavy, something beautiful is still waiting ahead.

Her philosophy is simple yet profound:

“Oh, to be loved is to be loved deeply.”

With dreams of reaching countless hearts, Mei Lii aspires to write many more books—each one offering even the smallest spark of life, warmth, and understanding to those who need it.
